This is a Fixed Term Part Time appointment until 30/06/2023 at 45.6 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension.

Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and enthusiastic person to the position of Clinical Nurse Specialist – Prostate Cancer. The Prostate Cancer Specialist Nurse is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care of men with prostate cancer from the point of diagnosis through post-treatment side effect management and survivorship care. The Prostate Cancer Specialist Nurse is responsible for developing standards of practice, implementing changes to clinical & management practices, initiating research and quality improvement activities and the provision of a consultation service within their area of expertise to all relevant customers within the Hospital and Health Service. The Clinical Nurse Specialist – Prostate Cancer will work within a multidisciplinary team and focus on patient assessment, health optimisation and coordination of care including survivorship.
