PTNS - A Treatment Option for OAB
ANZUNS & Endotherapeutics will be hosting a webinar discussing Percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation (PTNS) for the treatment of overactive bladder (OAB). The Urgent PC system for PTNS treatment is a non-drug, minimally invasive PTNS treatment for Overactive Bladder (OAB). It is funded by the MBS for the treatment of OAB.

Dr. Ruth Collins Urological Surgeon
Treatment of overactive bladder, medical management and PTNS
Dr Ruth Collins qualified at Nottingham University, England in 1989. She has practised as a consultant urologist in Sydney since 2003 and sub-specialises in the management of urinary incontinence, urinary tract stones, bladder disorders, urodynamics and general urology. Ruth was the first female urologist in NSW and is the founder and director of Collins Urology in Sydney. She is a VMO in Urology at the Sydney Adventist Hospital and Concord Hospital. Ruth is the urology representative on the College of Surgeons CHASM Committee. She regularly presents and chairs sessions at urology meetings and is involved in urology education and teaching to medical students, registrars and nursing staff. Ruth lives in Sydney and when she is not working or driving her children around, she takes a lot of photos.
Debra Ward Continence Nurse Advisor
PTNS case presentations: A nurse's perspective
Debra holds qualifications as a Continence Nurse Advisor, she has completed the La Trobe University Prostate Nursing Care Course and the APCR Urological and Prostate Cancer Nursing Fellowship. She has many years of experience as a urology nurse consultant in several private hospitals and has been at the Australian Prostate Centre for five years working in functional urology and uro-oncology. She received the ANZUNS Emerald award in 2019 and has completed the Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE40116) in 2021.

Ashleigh has worked with the Laborie equipment range for the past 14 years, with extensive experience in urodynamics, cystoscopy, and PTNS products. He has attended several training events with Laborie in Canada and has helped host numerous Laborie training events across Australia and New Zealand in conjunction with a range of prominent international guest speakers. Ashleigh is regarded as a urodynamics technical expert bringing a wealth of knowledge and technical expertise to this specialised area.
