2026 USANZ Tasmanian Section Meeting

The Education Day will feature presentations by urologists and urological nursing staff. The keynote presenter is Prof John Yaxley who has a special interest in the management of prostate cancer. He has performed over 3500 radical prostatectomy procedures, including ~1500 with robotic assisted laparoscopic techniques. He has also performed over 1200 prostate brachytherapy procedures.

Education Day topics include an overview of bladder cancer, troubleshooting catheterisation, surgical management of incontinence, managing the enlarged prostate, managing renal calculi, and emergency management of haematuria.
