As a Practice Nurse or Nurse Practitioner, you will be an integral part of our patient care team, providing essential healthcare services to patients of all ages. Your responsibilities may or will include but are not limited to:
• Manage in person and telephone patient appointments
• Provide clinical care to patients eg change catheters
• Checking and following up lab results and radiology reports
• Discussing lab and pathology results with relevant parties such as patient and health care providers
• Catheter change and care education
• Assist surgeon during procedures in rooms such as flexible cystoscopy
• Perform flow test and bladder scan, urodynamic study
• Provide Transcutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation and PTNS
• Prosthesis and implant activation and education
• Sacral Neuromodulation device programming and device checking
• Assist with CAPS application and community nursing referral
• Liaise with MDT for patient care planning
• Report writing
• Assist in clinical audit and research data collection
• Consumable and equipment ordering
• Bladder diary education and analysis in context of symptomatology review
• UTI prevention education and care
• Vaginal Pessary fitting and care
• Bladder treatments such as intravesical instillation
• Penile treatments such as intracavernosal injection
• Post-op follow up, post-discharge follow up including patient journey navigation
• any other duties the employer may assign to you from time to time, having regard to your skills, training and experience.

Qualifications required.
• Current APRHA Registered Nurse (Bachelor of Nursing) or Nurse Practitioner
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and attention to detail
