USANZ Tasmanian Section Meeting Urological Nurses Program

A Urological Nurses’ program will be held on the afternoon of Friday 31 October at Hotel Grand Chancellor Launceston from 12.45pm (registration opens at 12 noon) to 5pm, followed by a networking dinner with Urologists and Industry representatives (at discounted ticket price).

In addition to presentations from urological nurses and allied health practitioners, the program features two keynote speakers: renowned Oncologist and robotics surgeon, Professor Phil Stricker AO, and expert pathologist and Past President of the Australasian Division of the International Academy of Pathology, Prof Fiona Maclean.

Topics include the value of exercise in prostate cancer treatment, case studies on delivering intravesical and intrarenal gemcitabine/docetaxel, managing ED, active surveillance for prostate cancer, teamwork and technology, and post-cystectomy treatment options.
