Message from the ANZUNS ASM 2025 Convenor

It is my privilege and pleasure to invite you to join us in Perth for the 29th Australia and New Zealand Urological Nurses Society Annual Scientific meeting.

The theme for this year’s meeting is “Coming Together in Understanding” which is highly reflective of the challenges we have all faced in recent times.

Together with the scientific program chair, Jane Neve, we aim to bring you a diverse and informative program which appeals to all levels of urology nurse; with inspiring speakers to deliver stimulating and thought-provoking topics.

Attending will provide you with much more than an opportunity to listen to first-class speakers. The program provides you with the chance to share knowledge and experience with your peers and learn about the new products and services provided by our generous sponsors. We would also like to hear from you too, providing an inclusive space to showcase your latest research findings through our abstract program.

Perth City is in the ancient country of the Whadjuk Nyoongar people, who have been the Traditional Owners of the southwest of Western Australia for at least 45,000 years. Set on the banks of the Swan River (Derbal Yerrigan), Perth is a beautiful city, and we encourage you to extend your visit and see the delights we have in our city and surrounds. With lively laneways, bridge climbs and rooftop bars, museums and galleries, family attractions and a metropolis of food, music, and culture; you will not be short on the things to do.

We look forward to welcoming you all to Perth in 2025.

Julie Sykes, 2025 ANZUNS Meeting Convenor.
