Mel is a Prostate Cancer Specialist Nurse at Eastern Health in Melbourne Victoria.  Her work involves coordinating care of men living with prostate cancer, providing support to men and their families at diagnosis, during treatment and beyond. She has also recently joined the Prostate Cancer foundation as the clinical lead of the nursing service.

Mel has been nursing for 20 years in a variety of clinical settings including outpatients, day surgery, elective surgical, and education.

Mel’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Applied Science- Health Promotion, Prostate Nursing Care, and Cert IV Workplace Training and Assessment.  Her professional interests include education and awareness of Men's Health and survivorship issues.
