Come to raise awareness, come in support of someone touched by bladder cancer, come in memory of a loved one, come because you work in bladder cancer, or just come to be part of a great community event. Please bring your family, friends, and colleagues.

Everybody is welcome. Together, we can make a difference.

Anna’s Walk is a free, family friendly, community walk. Watch out this year for our yummy refreshments and lucky draw prizes.

Information & Support

Our bladder cancer support group continues to grow, and February marked a milestone with a record 50 members joining our online session. This highlights just how needed a safe, understanding space is for people navigating the bladder cancer journey.

Strong Support Network

This year we have an exciting lineup of guest speakers across medical, allied health, and holistic fields. These sessions will offer valuable insights and practical guidance for all patients and carers. It’s a great time to be part of a community that continues to grow in strength, knowledge, and connection.

Connecting with Clinicians, Nurses & Industry

The recent Urology Society of Australia & New Zealand / Australia & New Zealand Urological Nurses Society (USANZ/ANZUNS) Conference gave BEAT a valuable opportunity to connect with leading urologists and urology nurses from across the country, as well as industry partners. The quality of conversations was exceptional, and it was wonderful to hear that our resources are being used widely to support high quality bladder cancer care. Nurses in particular shared how much they value our materials, which was incredibly encouraging.

Expanding Bladder Cancer Education across New Zealand

We’re also proud to be expanding our educational reach across New Zealand to better support nurses, patients, and families. Through collaborations with New Zealand Urological Nurses Society (NZUNS) and the Cancer Society NZ, we delivered nurse webinars and education sessions designed to strengthen bladder cancer knowledge and support. These sessions help ensure nurses have up to date education, and that their patients and families can access the information and resources they need to feel informed, empowered, and supported throughout their bladder cancer journey.
