  • Nursing issues; and
  • End of life issues

  • Sound Check/Introductions/Acknowledgement of Country: 5mins
  • Part1: Led by Urologist & Medical Oncologist -> Basic treatment options for advanced bladder cancer (30 mins): Radiation, chemo, immunotherapy + side effects and impact on QOL
  • Part 2: Led by Uro-oncology nurse -> Nursing issues (20 mins): Dealing with pain, chemo side effects, haematuria and other bladder side effects from radiation (3 way bladder irrigation), managing a nephrostomy in the ward (for urinary tract obstruction).
  • Part 3: Led by Palliative care nurse -> End of life issues (20 mins): Emotional, psychological and social issues (contacting families, tying up personal affairs, living wills, DNR orders, palliative sedation, Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) - won't cover all but just a guide of potential topics)
